Insurance & Payment
Insurance & Payment
At Northeast Eye Care, we accept a variety of insurance plans and offer other payment options to help you cover your eye care costs. We are happy to assist you if you have questions about your plan or if you don’t see it listed below.
It’s important to understand the difference between vision plans and medical insurance. Vision plans are designed to cover routine eye care services such as eye exams, prescription glasses, and contact lenses. On the other hand, medical insurance is used to cover more complex eye conditions and treatments. This can include things like cataract surgery, treatment for glaucoma or macular degeneration, or even emergency visits for issues like foreign object removal or sudden vision loss. If you’re unsure about whether a particular service is covered by your vision plan or medical insurance, don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions!
